Two Door Cinema Club are an indie rock band from Northern Ireland. The band consists of Alex Trimble (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar and Keyboards), Sam Halliday (Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals) and Kevin Baird (Bass and Backing Vocals). Forming in 2007, the band gained buzz from MySpace before releasing their debut EP in 2009. After being recognised by French house music duo, Cassius, they then went to record and mix their debut album with Kitsuné Maison.Despite that band not having an official drummer, relying on electronic drum samples they released their debut album 'Tourist History', which charted at 24 in the UK and 22 in Ireland. They then went to release 5 singles from this album, but are most well known for their songs in different adverts and films. Our chosen song 'Do You Want It All' was featured in an advert for Sky Sports in the UK and in films like 'Chalet Girl' and 'I Don't Know How She Does It'.
After touring extensively for nearly two years including several festival slots at Reading and Glastonbury, they have now gone to record a second album in their Glasgow home.
